Metatron Red Wine Organic Jute 100% Eco YogaTribe® Mat

I like the texture of the mat but my hands & feet slide around a bit more than I would like. I need to put a towel down for my hands in down dog which I was hoping wouldn't be necessary. Also part of the sacred geometry print isn't lined up 100% & it feels a little silly that this isn't printed correctly. I do like the print with the arrow & sacred geometry, it is inspiring for alignment. It is a lovely mat & I do like it, happy enough with my purchase.

Having moved countries, I needed to invest into a new mat. I did a little research, and I was shocked to learn about the toxins and environmentally problematic substances commonly used in yoga mats. As I wanted my practice to be furthering wellbeing, I started to look for an alternative without VOCs that was produced ethically and sustainably and found YogaTribe. Their gorgeous colours and designs were a huge plus to me as well, and their customer service was great. I purchased the Metatron mat in wine and I love it. The side with the design on it is quite different to conventional yoga mats in terms of grip and takes a bit of getting used to in my opinion, but you can always flip the mat for a different grip feeling, which I love. In short, I love that these mats are healthy and environmentally friendly while looking great and feeling comfortable. ✨

The perfect Yoga Mat - align your warrior pose so perfectly along the geometric lines. I do wish it was a little thicker so would recommend another mat underneath if you get sore knees or need a little cushioning with headstands etc Also loved by furry friends
